Alamogordo oil painter Chris Ward will facilitate an artists’ round table at Art Apace in Alamogordo New Mexico. “Art Talk” will be held every Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Otero Artspace on the corner of 12th St. and Indiana Ave. in Alamogordo during Thursday's in June.
Oil painters interested in discussing ideas, techniques and other aspects of painting are welcome.
Ward has been painting in New Mexico for over 10 years. He studied art in New York, Florida and New Mexico, where he was a member of the Las Cruces-based Artist Guild of Southern New Mexico, where he painted with artist Julie Oliver.
His work has been displayed at Phillips Gallery in Las Cruces, LOCO Credit Union in Alamogordo, New Mexico, and can currently be seen at Horse Feathers Gallery in Tularosa NM and El Nicho Folk Art Gallery on Don Gaspar Avenue in Santa Fe. He is a member of Otero Arts Inc. and recently had a show at Otero Artisan’s Gallery on First St. in Alamogordo. Ward will participate in an October show at Art Space.

kudos to the union representative for reminding the assembly that there are many things more important to the citizens of alamogordo than the golf course.
my question regarding this article: after originally filing as a democrat, then withdrawing from that candidacy, to file a second time as an independent; did this experienced politician not read and understand the rules? this gives every appearance of a desperate attempt to resurrect a campaign that is floundering
Valid point. However, why do the rules become more stringent the further away from the party norm?
makes sense with the 1% requirement across the board.
i have no knowledge of the drafting of those rules, so i cannot answer your question - i am simply puzzled that someone with his political background would not recognize the statutory requirements from the beginning.
