In Memory of Roger Osantowski
Roger Osantowski of La Luz, NM passed away peacefully at home on August 13. He was born Oct 20, 1950 in La Junta, CO to Herbert and Ethel Osantowski.
The family moved to Alamogordo in 1955 and he was the second oldest of five children. Family was deeply important to Roger and his wife Cathy. They were high school sweethearts and after he graduated in 1968, he proudly served his country in the Army and later as a technician for government contractors.
Roger and Cathy were married on Mar 27, 1971. They built a loving family of their own with three children they have been very proud of. Through their 55 years of marriage they were blessed with 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren .
His career took them to a variety of locations, but they came back to Alamogordo and then La Luz in their retirement.
