In Loving Memory of Ethel Mae (Seelye) Killebrew

Ethel Mae (Seelye) Killebrew, age 84, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 31, 2026. She was born on February 28, 1942, in Muskegon, Michigan, to Betty and Leroy Seelye.

Ethel shared a beautiful marriage of 64 years with her beloved husband, Kenneth Killebrew. Together they built a life centered on faith, love, and family, creating a legacy that will continue for generations.

She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Jeff (Maritza) Killebrew and Mike (Laura) Killebrew. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Josh, Josiah, Alex (Jessica), Gabe (Myrna), Rebecca (Jon), Levi (Millie), Charles (Ally), and Paul, and a cherished great-grandmother to Anela, Oliver, Sawyer, Kora, Ayla, and Casen - oh, and don’t forget Buddy!

Ethel is also lovingly remembered by her sisters, Barbara Hoeker and Ruthie (Bud) Clark, and brothers, Earl and Roy Seelye, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her love and kindness.

Above all, Ethel was a woman of deep faith who loved everyone she met and found joy in serving others. Her family was her greatest joy, and she faithfully nurtured those she loved with a generous heart, gentle spirit, and steadfast example, touching countless lives with her compassionate heart. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and grace that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Though her family grieves her passing, they rejoice in the assurance that she is now at peace in the presence of her Savior. Her memory will forever be cherished until that joyful day when they are reunited in Christ.

A Celebration of Life for close family and friends will be held at 11a.m. on August 29, 2026, at Iglesia Triunfante Assembly of God church in Alamogordo, NM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital to help fight childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
