In Memory of Linda Susan (Telles) Humphrey

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Susan (Telles) Humphrey on June 12, 2026 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She was born on September 21, 1956 in Tularosa, New Mexico to the late Manuel Telles and Juanita (Fuentes) Ruiz. She spent a large majority of her life living in Berkley, Michigan where she raised her daughter.

Linda was known for her compassionate heart, empathetic nature, and love for those around her. She had a gift for making people feel cared for and would happily give a person anything she could. Her greatest joy in life was being a wife and a mother/grandmother to not only her daughter and grandson but all those she took under her wing.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that her love will remain with them always. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Humphrey; daughter, Tara Herriges (Ray); and grandson, Carson Herriges. As well as her siblings, Christine Klinekole, Tony Telles, Gilbert Telles (Juanita), Eddie Ray Telles (Sylvia), and Michael Telles (Cora); in addition to many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members. She leaves behind special friends that were like family to her, Rhiannon, Gigi, and Sean.

At the family’s request, there will be no service at this time. A celebration of life will follow at a later date.
