Isaac John Helmstetler, age 28, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Born on May 31, 1997, Isaac was the beloved firstborn son of Delores Reyes and Johnny R. Helmstetler. He is also survived by his grandparents, Cynthia and Orlando Guilez.
Isaac’s greatest pride and most enduring legacy are his two children, Rosalia Angel Herrera and Vincenzo Axel Herrera. He loved his children dearly, and his spirit will undoubtedly live on through them. He also leaves behind his devoted loving partner, Samantha Gonzalez, with whom he shared a beautiful life and many cherished memories.
As the eldest of four, Isaac was the cornerstone of his sibling group. His sisters, Angellee Sambrano and Kimberly Lucero, and his brother, Robert Lucero III, looked up to him as a natural leader. He took his role as a big brother to heart, consistently offering quiet advice and stepping up to protect and support them whenever they needed him. Above all, Isaac was a fierce and unwavering advocate for his mother, Delores, standing by her side with deep loyalty and strength.
Isaac shared a unique bond with his father, Johnny, that transcended the typical father-son dynamic; they were the best of friends. Their shared passion for music and countless plans for travels and adventures.
Isaac was a man of steady strength. While he had a deep appreciation for the arts and his personal interests, he was truly at his best when he was surrounded by his friends and family. His passing leaves a void that can only be filled by the many cherished memories of his warmth and presence.
He is survived by his parents, his children, his girlfriend, and his siblings, along with a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who will miss him dearly. Isaac's lasting request would be that his life be celebrated, not mourned.
