The Veil Has Fallen: A Call for a Love Revolution and Civic Accountability

On the evening of April 28, 2026, I stood before the Alamogordo City Commission to once again plead for the soul of our city. I spoke for the retention of Dr. Stephanie Hernandez—a leader of unmatched qualification and integrity. But as I looked into the eyes of the men on that dais, I realized the truth: our citizen voices were never meant to be heard.

In what can only be described as a masterclass in political cruelty, a faction of this commission engaged in a "shell game." They voted 7-0 to negotiate a contract they never intended to sign. They chose to delay, disempower, and abuse a dedicated public servant until the bitter end. Dr. Hernandez did not "surrender" to them; she surrendered to God. God said, "Enough is enough."

The cost of this factional ego? A settlement that could reach half a million taxpayer dollars. This was their plan all along: to use your money to fund their inability to lead.

The Pattern of Hypocrisy

The veil continued to lift as I watched the staff of our public golf course plead for their livelihoods. I listened to the course manager—a man who has shown immense care and due diligence in bringing that course back from years of mismanagement. Yet, the Commission seems poised to reward his stewardship by outsourcing those union jobs to a private corporation.

My own due diligence suggests the RFP decision has already been made in the dark. The union was treated as an afterthought, given a window to respond so narrow it was designed for failure. I must ask: who benefits from these kickbacks? Why is this commission so eager to cut local jobs in favor of outside interests?

This is the definition of hypocrisy—the failure to follow the very moral principles they claim to uphold when they stand beneath the words "In God We Trust."

A Paradox of Return

I returned to Alamogordo after 44 years to launch a restorative justice project—to restore dignity and grace to women and their families. It is a profound paradox to return to a community where the politicians are committing the very "crimes" that the system encourages: the theft of public trust and the misappropriation of public funds.

Christ Jesus did not come to teach us to remain silent in the face of such things. He came to empower us to confront them. To the members of Alamogordo, Otero County, and the Mescalero Apache Tribe, I ask you: Are you on God’s side?

Do you believe this is "just the way it is"? What happened to our belief that we must leave this world better for our children’s children? We carry the spark of the Divine, and it is time we used that spark to start a fire.

The Battle to Reclaim Our Power

We must fight for our freedom just as our forefathers did. We are faulted human beings, yes, but we are children of a Supreme Being. I am officially starting a podcast and an online course designed to empower you to become a fully realized citizen-member of this country.

We can no longer allow dishonest brokers to gamble with our future. If the politicians cannot be honest, we must remove them.

I am calling on the residents of District 2 and District 5 to begin the recall process for your commissioners.

Look at the evidence. Look at the cost of their incompetence. Look at the hundreds of thousands of dollars being drained from our roads and services to satisfy their personal vendettas.

Join me in this battle. Let us start a Love Revolution—one built on grace, respect, and dignity, but fueled by an unshakeable demand for justice. The time for silence is over.

Enough is enough.
