Praise for the City Executives and less so for Otero County Commissioners

I am extremely pleased with the decision to move forward with Dr. Hernandez for the Alamogordo City Manager position. She is overwhelmingly the best candidate for the position, and I'm pleased Mayor MacDonald was able to get this accomplished for our citizenry!  Let's just hope the City Commission can move forward on other issues like the poor condition of the city streets, lines being painted on them so us old folks can see them at night, etc.

I sincerely hope and wish the Otero County Commissioners can see the good being done by the City Executive Committee and get themselves together and off their incessant politically biased decision making agenda and exceptionally poor and haphazard managing of our scarce county resources; particularly the waste of $50,000 taxpayer funds to validate and election won by 66% in 2020 -- wasteful beyond belief or any measure known to man.
