Laurel Anne Feigum passed on September 19, 2025, at the age of 64, in Alamogordo, New Mexico surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on April 15, 1961, in Wichita Falls, Texas to Fletcher and Jimmy Shirley.
Laurel was raised in Texas where her warm heart, free spirit, and adventurous soul took root. She later met the love of her life, Scott, and together they built a family grounded in love, laughter, and togetherness.
Laurel lived each day to the fullest. She had a rare gift for embracing every moment and inspiring those around her to do the same. She was an incredible wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, someone who gave endlessly of herself, never took life for granted, and cherished her time with those she loved most.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Scott; her daughter, Ashley Provencio, husband Justin, children Robert, Sadie, and Evelyn; her daughter, Caitlyn Moore, husband Derek, children Keeley and Hailey; bonus sons, Corey, children Casidy, Felicia, Conner, and Riley; Scott, children Anthony and Kaylie; Zachary; and Matthew Feigum, wife Annie, children Liam and Tanner. She is also remembered with love by extended family and countless friends whose lives were brightened by her presence.
Laurel’s free spirit, compassion, and zest for life will live on through her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and memories that will forever be cherished.
The Memorial Service for Laurel Feigum will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, October 3, 2025, at Alamogordo Funeral Home with Pastor John Cantu officiating.
