ASHLIE LORRAINE MYERS, 45, passed away on September 10, 2025, at her home in Alamogordo, New Mexico, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born on December 17, 1979, to Susie Spears and Kevin Schenkelberg in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, where she lived until she was 13, and where she will be laid to rest beside her "favorite ever person on this planet," Alma "Lorraine” Templeton, her grandma.
Ashlie was a fighter in every sense of the word. She earned her Associate of Paralegal Studies degree while battling Stage II breast cancer and raising three children as a single mom. She had political aspirations and ran for local office in 2024 while battling Stage IV breast cancer. She was set to finish an undergraduate degree in the spring of 2022 when cancer made its unwelcome reappearance in 2021. She had a passion for travel and adventure, and she will live on in our hearts forever.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kevin Schenkelberg; grandma and grandpa, "Old Papa," Alma and Harold Templeton.
She is survived by her daughters, Emily, Claire, and Phoenix Myers; her mother and stepfather, Susie and Brian Whitmore; her adoptive father, Patrick Robinson; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas & Macey Robinson, and Phillip & Paige Robinson; her nieces and nephew, Tucker, Remie, Piper, Sadie, Anna, Elyse, and Melanie Robinson; her friends, Sue Vasquez and Alana Rodriguez; her cats, Georgia and Zuko; and her loyal dog, Brick.
The Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday, September 29th, at The Worship Center with Phillip Robinson officiating.
A reception and dinner will immediately follow at 575 Brewing Co. Come share your favorite memories of Ashlie with the family and celebrate a life well-lived and too short.
