William "Bill" Donald Tyree, 72, passed away on July 30, 2025 in El Paso, Texas. He was born on November 14, 1952 in Alamogordo, New Mexico to William Thomas Tyree and Nelva (Mogford) Tyree.
Bill grew up on a ranch and learned to rodeo early in life, earning a college scholarship for his abilities. He was hard working and became a master at many traits. He was a mechanic, a welder, a logging truck operator, plumber, electrician, and horse trainer. He worked 23 years for the State Highway Department of New Mexico, where he retired as a supervisor.
Bill was known for his unwavering kindness, always putting others before himself. His generosity and compassion touched many lives, especially his family's. He was a friend; a friend you would love to have. For all those who knew him, knew him to have a great sense of humor. His constant joke telling and quick wit brought joy and laughter to all.
Survivors include his loving wife, NoraTyree; sons, Ernie, Joseph and Eric; daughters, Sophia and Tamara; 14 grandkids and 14 great grandkids.
The family will have a private grave site memorial at a future date.
