Why do we even have a city code? Fireworks are permitted from July 1 to July 6. It is now July 8. For the sixth consecutive night someone is firing off large Ariel fireworks in my neighborhood. These fireworks, according to city code, are illegal. They are being fired off within one block of an Alamogordo city police officer's home and nothing is being done.
Why do we have a city code if it is not going to be enforced?
