Many of the participants of that group have lead the Saturday protests at 10th and White Sands Blvd each Saturday. For Saturday the 19th the group is calling for individuals to join the community cleanup effort as a day of positive action. See below...
John Lewis Day of Action “Good Trouble Lives On”

Instead of protesting on the corners of 10th Street and White Sands Blvd. on Saturday, July 19th, we would like to ask the community at large to join in participating in a “District 5’s Annual City-wide Neighborhood Cleanup.”

Dumpster locations which are available to anyone that cleanup day include:
523 Maryland Avenue (Dudley Community Center and Park)
Indian Wells Road & Scenic Drive
2201 Puerto Rico Avenue (Alamo Senior Center)
817 N Scenic Drive (New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene parking lot)
Panorama Boulevard (next to the Fairfield Inn)
Walker Boulevard (near the baseball park)

Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 7 am to noon at Dudley Community Center and Park (523 Maryland Avenue)
Dump your junk! Gather all your trash, old, unwanted and bulky items you've been longing to get rid of and bring them to your nearest dumpster location in the free dumpsters provided!
For your convenience, American Shredding Company will be onsite at Dudley Community Center and Park to provide free shredding services from 10 am to noon cleanup lasts until 2pm.
Old unwanted vehicles can be picked up and towed to the junk yard. Please contact us to obtain the paperwork needed to receive this service.
Household appliances, cell phones and batteries, electronics and ink cartridges, motor oil and antifreeze, rechargeable tool batteries, vehicle batteries, and large scrap metal are prohibited.
Please sign and date the Property Owner Liability Waiver for trash or weed removal, grass mowing, or shrub trimming services on your property.

If you are elderly, disabled or otherwise in need of assistance with the cleanup of your property, please call us for schedule assistance and to complete necessary paperwork along with the required waiver forms.
