Jacqueline Turnbull, 88, passed away on May 17, 2025 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She was born on January 27, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to Philip and MaDonna (LeCuyer) Sassone.
Jackie was the most beautiful, inspirational and loving person. She had so many gifts that she shared with others. She loved the ocean, the mountains, and dancing the night away with her husband of 49 years, Richard. She also loved gardening and reading. The best gift was the love she shared with her family. Jackie will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Richard Turnbull; daughter, Katie Martinez-Axe and her husband Scott of Rio-Rancho, NM; son, Scott Turnbull and his wife Marea of Tucson, AZ; sister, Debbie Falkenhan of Aurora, CO; 3 grandchildren, William Martinez of Albuquerque, NM; Danielle Turnbull of Phoenix, AZ; Garrett Turnbull and his wife Mary of Tucson, AZ; 4 great-grandchildren, Serenity, Valentina, Quinn and Jameson; special loved friends Jan Ferrara, Theresa Waxlax and Martha Watson; and her beloved dog, Ginger.
She was preceded in death by her father, Philip Sassone; mother, MaDonna Sassone; daughters, Gail Marie and Dona Jean; grandchildren, David Alan and Jacqueline Nicole.
