In Memory of Pamela Lea Vega

Pamela Lea Vega, 68, passed away unexpectedly on March 3, 2025, at her residence. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by her sudden passing.

Pamela, or Pam, is survived by and missed by her two children, Noah Flores and Hailey Vega; forever cherished by her two grandchildren, Hallie and Manny; siblings and their families, Lewis Cunningham and Linda Montoya.

Pam was predeceased by her father, Leroy; her mother, Dolores; and her brother, Larry. She was also predeceased by her two previous husbands, Tony Flores and Robert Vega.

Pam was born on March 29, 1956, in Carrolton, Illinois and grew up in Tularosa, New Mexico. Some of her greatest joy came from her two children. They created many memories together, filled with smiles and laughter.

Pam had several professions in her life but spent most of her time in banking. She worked at multiple local financial institutions and retired as CEO of LOCO Credit Union. During her working life in Alamogordo, she volunteered at numerous organizations and enjoyed supporting her community, where she touched many lives.

Pam was always known for her hospitality and cooking. One of the many joys in her life was providing meals for family and friends whenever they came to visit. She was one of the most selfless people you had ever met.

Her legacy will carry on forever reminding us that we control our attitudes. We choose to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service, like Pam modeled for us.

A celebration of life will take place at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Alamogordo Funeral Home on First Street. Please consider joining us for a reception following at Casa De Suenos in Tularosa.

The Vega family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the services.
