Lucas Moore, born September 15, 1979, in Alamogordo, NM, to Tom and Kathye Moore, passed away on December 15, 2024. Lucas grew up in High Rolls, NM, where he shared a joyful childhood with his two older brothers, Wayne and Levi. He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Moore.
Lucas’s adventurous spirit was evident from a young age. He began racing motorcycles at just 4 years old, a passion that reflected his determination and love for the thrill of life. Beyond his love for racing, Lucas had a remarkable gift for bringing joy to others. His kind spirit and the warmest of smiles left an unforgettable impression on everyone he met.
Lucas was also a talented cook who found joy in preparing meals for his loved ones. Whether in the kitchen or offering a helping hand, he embraced life with generosity and a heart full of compassion. His love for others shone brightly in his relationships, especially with his beloved daughter, Caitlyn Moore.
Lucas’s legacy of kindness and love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Celebration of Life was held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Alamogordo Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor and remember Lucas.
The Moore family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the services.
