Debra (Deb) Wydler was born on February 14th 1968 in Sonora, California to and Bryan and Lela. She passed away in Alamogordo, New Mexico on October 16th 2024 after a second long battle with breast cancer.
In addition to six years served in the U.S. Air Force, Deb spent 27 years as a civilian dental assistant for the U.S. Department of Defense. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting and crochet. She would create baby blankets for every newborn in her work and personal life, as well as beautiful gifts and products she sold for fun.
Deb was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving children, Genevieve Tannehill, Robert Wydler, and Bethany Purcell along with her two sons-in-law, Jonathan Tannehill and Christopher Purcell.
Deb (Nana) adored her grandsons beyond measure. Everette, Benjamin, Gabriel, and Alexander (due November 2024) will carry on her love and legacy.
In support of the fight against breast cancer, the family has created a memorial fundraiser in Deb’s name in the hope that the world may one day end breast cancer forever. Her memorial page can be found at: <http://www.info-komen.org/goto/debwydler>.
