Zella Faye Ramsey, 92, long-time resident of Tularosa went to our Lord on May 14, 2024.
Faye is remembered in the community for her years of work at the Tularosa Elementary School Cafeteria, her volunteer work for the Tularosa Senior Center Thrift Store (20+ years) and as a Tularosa Lion’s Club member for 40+ years. Faye is also known for her singing, sewing, and crafting. She was loving, gentle, kind and the most positive person you could know.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Ramsey. She is survived by four children: Janet (Richard) Baca; Betty, Bill (Linda) and Gary (Laura) Ramsey; brothers: James Ray (Sue) Abney of Lubbock, Homer Jr. (Brenda) Abney of Weatherford, Tx, and two sisters: Mary Myers and Lillie Mae Brooks of Tularosa; two sister-in-laws: Margaret and Pajita Abney of Tularosa, and numerous grandchildren. She was the head of a 5-generation family that has been blessed with her presence and influence for many years.
The family would like to thank those who enhanced her life. And, they thank you for taking the time to let the family know how she enriched your lives. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
