Joe Munoz, Jr., 92, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
He served his country with honor and distinction, dedicating four years of his life to the United States Airforce from 1951 to 1955. During his time in the military, he worked tirelessly as an aircraft mechanic, earning the respect and admiration of all those around him. Joe was honorably discharged and was the recipient of the National Defense Medal and the Good Conduct Medal for his exemplary service.
He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Munoz and his son Steve Munoz.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Joe (Yolanda) Munoz, Denise (Bob) Ellingson, and Randy (Kathy) Munoz; 6 grandchildren: 11 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Cecilia Munoz, Margaret Munoz, Genoveva Munoz, Marylou (Larry) Sanchez, and Alfred (Zulema) Munoz; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A private cremation was held.
