Matthew Jordan Vega, 32, passed away on April 15, 2024, in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was born on January 17, 1992, in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Mark and Natalia Vega.
Survivors include his parents, Mark and Natalia Vega; his sons, Matthew Jr. and Levi Vega; sister, Brittany Vega; nephews, Michael and Elijah; grandmother, Guadalupe Garcia; mother of his children, Paola Vega; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends. Matthew will be greatly missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tillman and Terri Smith; grandfather, Ernesto C Garcia; uncle, Ernesto C Garcia Jr.
Services for Matthew Vega will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
The family will greet friends from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am with Mass celebrated at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
The Vega family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
