It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Crystal.
Crystal was born 3/10/1988 in Alamogordo, NM and passed away on 2/19/2024 in La Luz, NM at the age of 35.
Her beautiful smile and contagious laugh will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Crystal was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Polly Countryman and Amelia Lucero - Garcia and her grandfather Samuel Garcia Sr. and her mother-in law- Evangeline Hill. Her Compadre Salamone Lucero.
Crystal is survived by her 3 children whom she loved dearly. Maricella (Elias Marroquin) Montoya, Luciano Garcia Montoya, and Isabella Garcia Montoya. The father of her children Isaiah Montoya. Her 2 grand-daughters Evangeline Marroquin and Marisol Marroquin. Her mother Donna (Gordy) King, and her father Sam Garcia. Her Sister Mandy Garcia, and her brother Christopher Garcia. Her Madrina Beatrice (Bea) Lucero. Her grand-father Sherman (Sandi) Countryman. Her aunts and uncles - Leona Miller, Alice Legardy - Countryman, Judy (Dennis) Nunez, Tamatha (Bryan) Witt, Teresa Sierra (Mamma Tia), Lorine Figueroa, Simon Garcia, Isaac (Richelle) Garcia, and Benny (BJ) Sandoval.
Crystal also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends (including on the Romero, Lucero, and Garcia side) who will miss her tremendously.
Services will be held Saturday March 2, 2024 at 11:00 am at Mountain View Church 1300 Cuba Ave. Alamogordo, NM 88310 with Pastor Torres officiating.
