In Memory of Cecilia "CeCe" Adler Sandoval Gonzalez

In loving memory of a very special woman, Cecilia “CeCe” Adler Sandoval Gonzalez, 79, born September 15th, 1944 in Albuquerque, NM, departed this world this past Thursday, Jan 18th, 2024 in Alamogordo, NM, her home for 52 years. Cecilia lived a life dedicated to love, family, spirituality and resilience, continuously creating timeless memories. As a devoted mother and wife, she embodied strength and compassion, and through the challenges life presented, she faced them with unwavering determination, leaving an enduring legacy of love and courage.

She married Arnulfo “Speedy” Gonzalez in Alamogordo, October 14th, 1961, and enjoyed 63 years of marriage with him. A mother of 3 daughters, she devoted her life to family, and loved spending time with loved ones. She also enjoyed her baking, painting, crafts, and had an artistic eye for design.

She is survived by her husband, Arnulfo Gonzalez; an older brother, Sabino Sandoval; a younger sister, Lupy Miranda; a younger brother Charley Sandoval; 3 daughters - Eva Gonzalez (Ron) Denver CO, Yolanda Norton (Greg) Visalia CA and Diana Vela (David) Indianapolis IN; 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to St. Jude Parish Catholic Church, located at 1404 College Ave in Alamogordo, January 31st, 2024. Viewing will start at 9:30am, followed by the Rosary at 10:15, Mass at 11am, burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, and a reception at St. Jude’s Parish Hall starting at 12:30pm, all to reminisce and honor the life of Cecilia.

She will be dearly missed by many. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to those who knew her.

The Gonzalez family has entrusted Cecilia to the care of Scenic Chapel to direct the services.
