Chris Edwards, Editor is an Author/Business Executive, Investigative Journalist, Political Consultant and named one of the 25 Most Influential People in Southern New Mexico by New Mexico Influence Magazine. Edwards was born in Shawneetown, Illinois and lived for several decades in the western United States.
Chris Edwards is a recognized proponent of the cultural arts, a strong business advocate and a political activist for equality in human rights, the rights of POC and LBGTQ+ causes. He has traveled to 46 countries and enjoys the diversity of cultures. Chris Edwards has led divisions of large public companies, assisted with the growth and support of social enterprises and served on boards of several for profit and nonprofit enterprises.
As an author Chris Edwards gained recognition for his 90 Days to a Glass Half full Book Series, a self help series inspired by his mentoring relationship with incarcerated individuals. He serves as CEO and General Manager of 2nd Life Media with oversight of steaming KRAZY Kalhradio.org, NewMexicoConservativeNews.com and AlamogordoTownNews.org
As an Author & Activist Chris Edwards has been involved in community development. Over the decades he has raised over $1 million dollars for charities, including AIDS, Domestic Violence and Charities benefiting the underclass and POC. Chris Edwards assisted in teaching an African delegation visiting Northern California on outreach and testing of the migrant communities, skills they took back to Africa during a World AIDS Conference hosted in San Francisco.
Chris Edwards has written a series of self help books to include 90 Days To A Glass Half Full Lifestyle: The Power of Positive Daily Affirmations 2 Hours Unplugged: Unplug & Reconnect: The Next 90 Days to a Glass Half Full Lifestyle, Get Fuc-ing Real, Get Right!: Harsh Motivation for a Rough & Tough World (90 Days to a Glass Half Full Lifestyle). As a result of his political activism, he published Removing Barriers to State Occupational Licenses To Enhance Entrepreneurial Job Growth: Out of Prison, Out of Work as a guide in rehabilitative justice and employment opportunity policy.
As an author Chris Edwards partnered with NCAA Award Winning Coach, Artist and co-Author, Rene Sepulveda on a series of athletics focused books. The first series centered around the 114 year history of the New Mexico state interscholastic track and field program and expands into the history of track and field and football at Alamogordo High School in Southern New Mexico. The series tackles conversations about integration of high school athletics, Title IX in girls sports and showcases Coach Robert Sepulveda the winningest Track & Field Coach in New Mexico history during the 90s. The series centers on him as a central character witnessing decades of change in prep sports and includes stories about Coach Marilyn Sepulveda who was inducted into the New Mexico Coaches Hall of Honor in 2025.
Rene Sepulveda is the publisher and mastermind of many recent art projects that can be seen outside Studio Q at 1209 New York Avenue, Alamogordo, New Mexico. He is the mastermind of the idea to reinvigorate and rebuild Alamogordo with a vision of it becoming a cultural arts and fitness mecca of Southern New Mexico by taking advantage of the many natural resources and beauty of the area thus rebuilding the small business community. As publisher of 2nd Life Media Mr. Rene Sepulveda has advocated for multiple viewpoints to be represented within the publications for which he sits as chairman.
