Alamogordo, NM — Residents and visitors are invited to explore the Alamogordo-White Sands Regional Airport during a free Open House and Veterans Appreciation Day on Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event, held at 3500 Airport Road, offers an afternoon of aviation, community connection, and family-friendly activities. Organizers say the open house is designed to give the public a closer look at the local airport while providing hands-on experiences for all ages.
Visitors can expect aircraft on display, food trucks, STEM exhibits, and additional activities geared toward the whole family. The gathering also serves as a community recognition of Veterans Appreciation Day, honoring those who have served.
Admission is free. Organizers encourage families, friends, and community members to attend and spend the afternoon exploring local aviation and supporting local veterans.
The event is supported by community partners, including the Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce and local radio stations.

i will repeat that whatever damage barela inflicted on the state party, pales in comparison with the damage done to the national party by their dear leader. local repubs should breath a sigh of relief when they look at the damage done to texass - and many other states. pay attention...there's a lesson in there som
So, the party that has kept the state in such excellent shape remains in charge?
You must be talking about Block since he was the incumbent for this region. Done nothing for the last couple of years, will continue to do nothing for the next two, except to block everything that is good for Otero and NM.
You believe what you are told to believe. I believe I’ll have dessert.
