ALAMOGORDO, N.M. — The Tularosa High School track and field teams delivered a solid performance at the NMAA District 4-3A Championships held Thursday, April 30, in Dexter. The girls team finished 2nd overall, while the boys team placed 3rd.
Several Wildcats stood out with individual wins, podium finishes, and strong relay performances, earning automatic qualification to the 3A State Championships scheduled for May 8-9 at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.

Tularosa athletes turned in consistent efforts across sprints, distance, hurdles, relays, and throws. Kayleigh Bigas’s distance sweep, Mason Garcia’s sprint dominance, and Alivya Young’s throwing excellence highlighted the day for the Wildcats.
