Alamogordo’s Christmas on MainStreet to Transform New York Avenue into Global Holiday Showcase Saturday 4 to 9 pm

ALAMOGORDO, N.M. — Alamogordo’s historic downtown will sparkle with holiday magic this Saturday, December 6, as Christmas on MainStreet returns from 4 to 9 p.m., stretching across the 800 to 1200 blocks of New York Avenue and spilling into 10th and 12th Streets. Presented by Alamogordo MainStreet, the event promises festive cheer, cultural celebration, and community spirit.

This year’s theme, Christmas Around the World, invites visitors to “stroll down MainStreet and travel the world,” as local businesses transform into international destinations for one night only. From Hogwarts to Ecuador, the storefronts will showcase holiday traditions from across the globe.

• 5:30–6:15 p.m.: Ukrainian Americans of NM featuring Vesnianka Dance Ensemble

• 6:15–6:30 p.m.: Most Creative Christmas Outfit (Kids)

• 6:30–7:15 p.m.: Dancers of Mexican Beauty Folklorico

• 7:15–7:45 p.m.: Ugly Sweater Contest & Pet Costume Contest

• 5:00–8:00 p.m.: Rocket City Renegades Dance Competition
