Alamogordo MainStreet has expressed a huge thank you to the 54th OSS Group at Holloman Air Force Base and CASA Auto Group’s Big Give Project for rolling up their sleeves with Alamogordo MainStreet’s Facade Squad and volunteering to assist with the New York Avenue makeover of the 800 and 900 Blocks.
With 20 volunteers working 3 days a week throughout July, these volunteers contributed over 244 hours of time, a value of $6,100, to help refresh 15 downtown buildings with nearly $60,000 in façade improvements. These military volunteers are making a difference to the heart of Alamogordo - New York Avenue.
