AlamogordoTownNews.org continues its reporting in collaboration with streaming KALHRadio.org's Anthony Lucero. As previously reported the Alamogordo Mobile Home Park Operator Signed an AG Assurance of Discontinuance (Settlement Agreement)
Per that agreement, one for Amber Skies and one for Desert Palms work is to begin and remedy the water issues and the lack of gas for heating and showering.
Copies of each agreement are linked below...

Amber Skies Mobile Home Park. NM Attorney General Settlement Agreement
Anthony Lucero of KALHRadio.org spoke with Desert Palms resident Shari Adkisson who provided us an update on relations with the owner, a change in local management and what is proposed to be done with a deadline to remedy the heating and showering issues in Desert Palms...

In addition, at the owners other park, Amber Skies, on Monday a water main was reported as broken again in what some mobile home owners call "no mans land." A resident reported to us that "a water break at Amber Skies this morning continued with water flowing into the desert. This water is unmetered water because it doesn't get metered unless at the individual's house meter. Thus, park management and the California owner don't worry about it because they don't get billed for it. Free water flowing at the expense of the City of Alamogordo."

AlamogordoTownNews.org has reached out to the city for comment, as well as the property owner. As of our publication deadline we have not yet received a response concerninf a fix of this most recent break.
thank you for a clear review of the coverage of this grievous occurrence. i would make several observations:
Sunny, with a high of 102 and low of 66 degrees. Sunny in the morning, clear overnight.
So, it went from a semi open primary to a closed selection process limited to registered democrats being eligible for selection? Interesting.
i have participated in a much smaller scope version of this same situation - about 20 years ago, as a precinct chairman of the democratic party in a rural east texas county. after the primary election, the democratic candidate for a seat on the county commission suddenly died.
So any candidate regardless of party affiliation may submit their name for consideration?
here's hoping for expansion in the elephant graveyard...i can hardly wait until november 3rd.
It can join the corpses at the ******* cemetary.
i visited the Sunspot observatory on my first trip through the Sacramentos, on a motorcycle ride in 1972, and have always included that site whenever introducing visitors to this many faceted region. it is sad to consider this unique scientific icon being demolished.
necessary housekeeping; clearly stated and documents due process and responsible action by their governing body - a fine model to follow.
It's all BS until the kids can read/write and do math at grade level.
