Alamogordo's KALHRadio.org Anthony Lucero Goes National to 700 Stations via USA Radio News

Locally, the name Anthony Lucero is a character that has been a staple of the Alamogordo radio market for over 2 decades. His impact on the Alamogordo community radio news broadcast scene is a staple that thousands rely upon for in depth interviews and investigative reporting. 

Anthony has been a fixture in the Alamogordo radio market since 2006. He assisted with the launch of KALH early on and has been a key member of the staff from the start though the transition in leadership that happened in January 2023 to management by 2nd Life Media.

In January of 2023, Mr Lucero helped reinvent KALHRadio.org into the streaming format known as KRAZY Radio flipping from a country format to the best of the 70s, 80s and 90's as the "Soundtrack of Your Life."  In addition to the change in music format, Mr Lucero worked to reinvent and rebrand the news division from Spectrum News to Alamogordo Town News radio edition, which compliments our written edition with in depth live radio interviews, most of which are also archived on YouTube on the KALH Radio channel. 

Anthony Lucero is a nationally recognized and multiple award winning radio broadcaster who served as a news broadcaster with the USA Radio Network in 2015 and 2016 to hundreds of stations across the nation. Anthony in his earlier days also worked as a television producer and director for KOAT News. 

Anthony is  a tremendous influence on the decades of success for KALHRadio.org. His work is again being recognized, as we are pleased to announce, we will be sharing Mr. Lucero's talent nationwide to over 700 affiliate USA News Network affiliated stations.

Our own Anthony Lucero (multi award winning broadcaster) returns to the USA Radio News and thus national broadcasting. 

USA Radio News was on a brief hiatus recently but is relaunching stronger and better than before. While speaking to the powers that be about the relaunch, a deal between the parties was reached for Anthony Lucero to return to the national network.

KALHRadio.org will restore the USA Radio News to our online streaming platform this week, as our nationally syndicated news partner and with Anthony now being heard over the networks 700 affiliates daily.
