The Alamogordo Tigers finished their regular season of home play with Senior Night at Football in the Tiger Stadium with Centennial defeating Alamogordo 42 to 21.
The Tigers drop to 4 wins and 5 losses and now stand at 1 and 3 in district play. They next play at Organ Mountain on Thursday.

To start the second quarter Zaiden Davis 2 yd TD run (XP good) Centennial led Alamogordo 14 to 7. Then Centennial continued to drive with Zaiden Davis 71 yd TD pass to Christian Ortiz (XP good)
Centennial then Alamogordo 21 to 7 with 7:31 to go in the second quarter. Then Rudy Rios 2 yd TD run (XP good) and Centennial led Alamogordo 28 to 7 with 2:06 to go till halftime.

Christian Ortiz 32 yd TD run (XP good) with Centennial leading Alamogordo 35 to 7 with 9:05 to go in the 3rd quarter. Going into the fourth quarter Zaiden Davis scored with a 44 yd TD pass to Ralph Silva (XP good) Centennial led Alamogordo 42-7, 10:50 to go in the fourth quarter. Then Alamogordo scored with Elijah Montoya 1 yd TD run (Vasquez XP good). Centennial still hosts a hefty lead over Alamogordo 42 to 14 and 5:46 to go in the game. Then Nathanael Best 2 yd TD (Vasquez XP good)
But Centennial maintained the lead over Alamogordo ending the game at 42 to 21.
In other sports news there is a schedule change in soccer all District 3-5A Soccer matches on Tuesday October 24th have been rescheduled to Monday October 23rd due to forecasted bad weather on Tuesday.

Boys Soccer - FINAL - Mayfield defeated Alamogordo 3 to 0. The Tigers drop to 3-15, 1-7 in district. The Tigers next play at Las Cruces on Tuesday.
Girls Soccer Mayfield defeated Alamogordo 5 to 1. Elizabeth Needham scores for the Lady Tigers, assisted by Dani Sandoval and Olivia Morris. The Lady Tigers drop to 8 and 10 and 1 and 7 in district. They next host Las Cruces on Tuesday.
In Volleyball Lordsburg defeated Mescalero Apache in straight sets. The Lady Chiefs now stand at 2 and 15, 0 and 1 in district and they host Tularosa next.
Volleyball Cloudcroft defeated Capitan in straight sets (25-19, 25-12, 25-18). The Lady Bears improve their record to 14-0, 1-0 in district. They next host Lordsburg.
Volleyball -Artesia defeated Alamogordo in straight sets (25-11, 25-13, 25-13). The Lady Tigers now stand at 3-13 and next play at Las Cruces.
