Alamogordo’s historic downtown will sparkle with holiday magic this Saturday, December 6, as Christmas on MainStreet returns from 4 to 9 p.m., stretching across the 800 to 1200 blocks of New York Avenue and spilling into 10th and 12th Streets.
Presented by Alamogordo MainStreet, the event promises festive cheer, cultural celebration, and community spirit.
This year’s theme, Christmas Around the World, invites visitors to “stroll down MainStreet and travel the world,” as local businesses transform into international destinations for one night only. From Hogwarts to Ecuador, the storefronts will showcase holiday traditions from across the globe. the long term drought conditions serve to underline the importance of long-term vision and planning to meet future water needs.
Sunny, with a high of 102 and low of 72 degrees. Sunny during the morning, clear in the afternoon and evening,
any water distribution built with schedule 20 pvc piping, has been "a public utility emergency" since it was constructed. the fact that it lasted as long as it has is incredible.
ultimately the price for poor management practices will be equally borne by every property owner in that community - except those who have private wells, i suppose. but even those folks will have a smaller pool of prospective buyers....makes it sound kinda like socialism doesn't it?
I hope Dr. Hernandez is a guest speaker at an upcoming meeting of the Mayor's Youth Advisory Commission. She has so much wisdom and experience to pass on to younger generations.

Obviously you have never met nor engaged with the mayor. She works tirelessly full file research, engaging with constituents and legislators at the state and federal level and with policy experts from DC to New Mexico to learn and better serve her constituency.
