Public Safety Notice of Road Closure July 3 through Monday, July 5

Due to the amount of explosive devices (fireworks) that will be on location for the July 4th fireworks display, a section of Fairgrounds Road will be closed to the public. Please be aware that beginning on Saturday, July 3 at approximately 8 a.m. through Monday, July 5 at approximately 3 a.m., Fairgrounds Road will be closed to all traffic.

The closure will be from Champion Way to the east entrance of the Griggs Sports Complex.

This closure is for the safety of the public due to the explosives that will be on location, as well as regulations set forth by the State of New Mexico and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.
